Instructor: Max Pears, Level Design at CD Project Red
The cowboy character, enemy AI and some props were provided, but the majority of the geometry in the levels was modelled from scratch in either Maya or Unity using Probuilder. The course ran for 10 weeks with each week focused on different elements of Level Design such as:
Composition/Framing
Positive/Negative Space
Shape Language
Guiding the player
Emotive Design
Combate
The course was amazing and I learned a ton of new techniques. I would definitely recommend it to any Level Designer!
